Who is Lucky Wogpak
Lucky Morebodi, who is affectionately known by his stage name Lucky Wogpak was born and
bred in Wolmaranstad, in the North West. An extrovert, and passionate about working with
people. Lucky is a proud member of the LGBTQI+ community, who advocates who equal rights
of every person to live freely and truthfully without the judgement of others.
My personality in a few words.
I am very entertaining in my nature. My passion for public speaking started back in school, where I was always found talking, whether in class or outside. I noticed that I made a great impact in my community by indirectly telling stories relatable to us. I have always been a fun and bright person, whenever I meet up with people, they would never allow me to leave the event, all because of how I make them laugh.
Where it all began.
In 2020, during the national lockdown, I started posting funny videos on my social media platforms, just to make people laugh since the world was in the middle of a very scary pandemic. This is when I started sharing funny memories about my family gatherings, both sad and funny. I then reached out on social media, asking for help with sponsorships and collaborations to take my talent and passion forward. I was not looking for anything specific, in fact I was not even sure what I was looking for. A random follower then reached out and helped me set up a TikTok account and I had 10 000 followers in a week. We started working together and taking bookings to host events and the feedback been amazing, I realised that people loved me, and just like that, I noticed that there
was a great potential to make a living out of telling stories. That is exactly how the Lucky Wogpak brand was born.
Future goals.
I am hoping to be a television presenter and an international event host. I am also looking to
start the Lucky Wogpak foundation, which looks into educating the society about the rights of
the LQBTGI+ community and create a free and inclusive opportunities for all.
